Beyond Belief

What are beliefs anyway?

Subjective

(It's kind of a hardware/software split, eh?)

The point is, beliefs about God are incorrect/abridged because they are "structures" or "formations" in our brains/minds and God is infinite and beyond belief.

Religions become social clubs as the "story" becomes more familiar to the congregation than the experience of God and Godly states of being: loving, kindness, self sacrifice, atonement, gratitude, forgiveness, bliss...

You don't need to wear special clothes, or sing particular songs, or go to special buildings on certain days, or anything to experience God. He is everywhere at all times which is to say in the same breath He is here and now.

Those things can and do help! It's only when you let them overshadow the Light that they become problematical. People let the outer forms occupy their attention and they forget to challenge themselves (because, strangely, it /is/ a challenge, to love, to feel good, to live in bliss and harmony!?) to touch base with God experientially.
